Terms of Services


This Agreement governing the terms and conditions of your use of the Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC. (“Michiana Bin Cleaners”) service, is between you (“You” or “Customer”), as an authorized user of such services, and Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC. (The Service).

This Agreement, together with any operating rules, policies, price schedules, or other supplemental documents expressly incorporated herein by reference and published from time to time by Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC. (collectively, the “Agreement”), constitutes the entire agreement between Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC and you regarding the Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC cleaning service. By using the Service, you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, this Agreement.


Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC offers the Services listed on its website at www.michianabincleaners.com or by calling 269-340-0652. The Services are residential and commercial trash bin cleaning, pressure washing, truck fleet washing, graffiti removal, and bulk cleaning contracts.

Customer Responsibilities

To avoid an interruption or discontinuation of Services, you must do all of the following:

  1. Trash bin(s) must be easily accessible to service personnel on scheduled service day.
  2. Trash bin(s) may be tagged with branded sticker to identify which bins are serviced; bins may not be rotated or substituted at any time.
  3. Customer/Business must provide gate code if is required for entry to community. In the event that our technician cannot enter community for scheduled cleaning, the technician will continue his/her route and payment will not be refunded.
  4. Trash bin(s) must be free of excessive cooking / motor oils or un-bagged animal waste.
  5. Trash bin(s) must be free of chemicals, fresh paint, glue or other adhesive, or hazardous waste of any kind. **Contact for additional information regarding hazardous bin cleaning for businesses**
  6. Trash bin(s) must be free of building materials, e.g. plaster, stucco or concrete.

Our technician may choose to remove 1 to 2 bags of trash in order to clean your trash cans, and then place the bags back inside when done. If he/she feels that the condition of the bagged trash inside the bins is not easily removable, he/she reserves the right to skip service on that day, documenting the reason that they were not able to provide service.

We reserve the right not to provide service if there is:

Un-bagged trash – including but not limited to excessive loose trash, yard clippings, diapers or animal waste.

Hazardous waste – including but not limited to chemicals, paint, glue, or other adhesives.

Building materials – including but not limited to plaster, stucco, or concrete.

If there is more than 2 bags of trash, excessive loose trash, hazardous waste or building materials, please notify us prior to 7 a.m. and we will skip the cleaning that day.  If you do not notify us before 7:00 a.m. and we find upon arrival that service cannot be completed for any reason, you will still be charged for this visit.

If the technician cannot service a trash bin for any reason, he/she/them will take pictures showing why the trash bin was not cleaned and leave you a notice indicating the reason. No refunds will be given for skipping a cleaning due to customer not adhering to responsibilities/conditions.

Responsibilities of Michiana Bin Cleaners

If Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC fails to provide its service on the scheduled day of service for a reason other than failure of customer obligations in the paragraph above, Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC will compensate the Customer by one of the following methods: 

  • Arranging for the service to be performed on the next possible business day; OR
  • Crediting the customer for the missed service 

Modifications to Customer Agreement

Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC. may amend this Agreement at any time by (a) posting a revised Customer Agreement at www.michianabincleaners.com/terms-of-service and/or (b) mailing or sending information regarding the amendment to the email address you provided to Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC. Any changes to the agreement would be solely made to improve our ability to provide services.

Modifications of Services

Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC reserves the right to modify our services at any time and without notice. In the event of inclement weather, or mechanical issues, Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC reserves the right to cancel all service for the scheduled day and will notify all scheduled clients by email, phone, or public announcement on all of Michiana Bin Cleaners social media channels.

Due to the nature of our service, scheduling may be altered in accordance with all US holidays, pending the schedule set forth by local waste management companies providing trash collection service in each area.  In the event of a trash collector’s union strike, Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC will continue to provide service as scheduled, but the client would be responsible for removing all trash from the bins prior to their scheduled service. 


You agree to pay all charges for your use of the service at the prices then in effect for your area of residence. All charges will be exclusive of value added sales or other taxes, except as required by law. Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC reserves the right to change prices or institute new charges for access to or use of the service. Any changes in pricing will be communicated to you by telephone, mail or email. It is your right to continue the service or to discontinue the service at that time. Continued use of the services or non-termination of your Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC account after changes are communicated to you by telephone, telephone message/voice mail, mail OR email correspondence constitutes your acceptance of the prices as modified by the posted changes.

Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC will invoice you upon initial sign-up after your cleaning. You will then be billed on the 1st or 10th of every month for the service agreed upon. Customers serviced in first two weeks are billed on the first of the month, the last two weeks are billed on the 10th. Quarterly customers will be billed every 3 months (90 days). Residential Customers ONLY – When paying the initial invoice select “keep card on file” for automatic billing and payment. All monthly/quarterly trash bin cleaning services must be on auto-pay OR you will need to pay for your service prior to your cleaning. You will have 60 days to select a payment method for auto-pay. By entering your card information on file, you agree to be auto-billed for the services you have signed up for, at the frequency you have selected.

All auto-pay customers will be invoiced and charged at the 1st or 10th of the month that their cleaning occurs. Other recurring customers have until the day before the cleaning to pay, or will be rescheduled until the cleaning is paid for. We will not come to service your bins without payment, after your first cleaning.

All business accounts will pay in accordance with the payment terms negotiated by both parties and do not need a card on file.

Customers choosing “one-time” cleanings do not need to save a payment method on file.

Each time you use the service you agree and reaffirm that Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC is authorized to charge your designated card. Your card issuer’s agreement governs your use of your designated card in connection with Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC, and you must refer to that agreement with respect to your rights and liabilities as a cardholder.

If you relocate to an area outside of Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC service area. Please provide a 10 day notice so that we may discontinue service. Failure to provide notice may result in charges that are non-refundable. If you have any questions regarding any charges that have been applied to your account, please contact Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC within 30 days of the charge date.

Customer must notify Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC of any changes to payment method prior to next billing cycle. 

A late fee of $15 will be added to any invoices that are more than 30 days past due for residential cleanings.

A late fee of 2% monthly will be added to any invoices that are more than 30 past due for commercial cleanings not on a contract.

Any Customer account that is more than 30 days past due will be considered delinquent. Services for delinquent accounts will be suspended until the account balance has been restored to good standing.

Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your service without notice upon rejection of any credit or debit card charges or if your card issuer (or its agent or affiliate) seeks return of payments previously made to Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC when Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC believes you are liable for the charges. Such rights are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other legal rights or remedies available to Michiana Bin Cleaners, LLC.

Cancellation of Services

Residential services may be cancelled at any time by emailing info@michianabincleaners.com or calling 269-340-0652. If the cancellation request is sent 10 DAYS PRIOR to the next scheduled service, no additional charges or services will take place. Cancellation requests sent less than 10 days prior of after scheduled service was completed will still be charged as agreed. Service will then be cancelled and no further charges will take place.


Business/commercial services may be cancelled at any time by emailing info@michianabincleaners.com or calling 269-340-0652. We do ask for a 45-day notice when cancelling recurring services for businesses.


  1. The failure of either party to enforce its rights under this Agreement at any time for any period shall not be construed as a waiver of such rights.
  2. If any part, term or provision of this Agreement is held to be illegal or unenforceable neither the validity nor enforceability of the remainder of this Agreement shall be affected.
  3. Neither Party shall assign or transfer all or any part of its rights under this Agreement without the consent of the other Party.
  4. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties relating to the subject matter hereof unless any representation or warranty made about this Agreement was made fraudulently and, saves as may be expressly referred to or referenced herein, supersedes all prior representations, writings, negotiations or understandings with respect hereto.
  5. Neither Party shall be liable for failure to perform or delay in performing any obligation under this Agreement if the failure or delay is caused by any circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of god, war, civil commotion or industrial dispute. If such delay or failure continues for at least 30 days, the Party not affected by such delay or failure shall be entitled to terminate this Agreement by notice in writing to the other.
